Who says performance and economy don't mix? The Buddy Black Jack 150 gives you arm-stretching, eyeball-popping acceleration and still sips fuel like a bird. But we didn't stop at the engine.

The brake and suspension bits are name brand, top-shelf, race-tuned and beefed-up. The transmission is primed to launch you from stop lights.

The Black Jack goes like heck, corners like a go kart, and stops on a dime. Want even more? The dealer-installed accessory performance pipe (off road, closed-course use only) deals out a winning hand!

The Black Jack is the “high-performance” scooter in the Buddy lineup, touting upgraded suspension and brakes, as well as some accessory options.

Despite its gearless transmission, the CF250T-3 V3 is not a scooter because it does not have the traditional scooter step through frame. Its main personality is that of a motorcycle as it's built around a motorcycle frame.

The CF250T-3 V3 fills a niche in the entry-level market by doing away with a clutch-driven transmission and appealing to beginning motorcyclists who have trouble mastering the clutch/throttle action. The Legacy is all motorcycle and a decent sized one at that. It's hard to beat the price for what you get. Plastic aside, you get a heck of an engine that should last you for years. And quite frankly, that's what counts. The red color is stunning by the way.

In conjunction, the company has released more details on the models, which are planed to go on sale in Europe in the late spring of 2011.

Ride time between charges is about an hour. Riders can recharge the battery while it’s installed. They also can quickly replace it with another.

KTM showed the first prototype of a zero-emission motorcycle in October 2008. The company says that a strong impetus for the model was strict European noise regulations.

Aprilia SR 50 and two bikes Aprilia RS 50 and RS 125 are now offered in the same livery and colors as the RSV4 Superbike ridden by Max Biaggi in his first ever win at Brno on Sunday, July 26th. These three new replicas have just hit the market.

Aprilia SR 50, the world's sportiest 50 cc scooter, was originally launched in1992. It stood apart from its rivals with its cool sports bike characteristics. Aprilia is the first manufacturer to offer 50cc scooter with electronic fuel injector.

Piaggio will equip its 2011 Vespa S 150, LX 150 and LXV 150 models with new fuel-injected motors that are reported to consume 15 percent less fuel than the previous generation motor.

What does that translate to in on-the-road riding? The Italian manufacturer says the engines will get about 85 mpg while providing stronger, smoother acceleration in traffic at speeds of up to 60 mph.

The company says the new motors are an addition to its lineup of energy-conscious vehicles and a boon to riders who are "devoted to reducing fuel consumption, carbon emissions and congestion."

"Vespas are one of the easiest and most enjoyable ways to contribute toward a cleaner, greener transportation landscape, and our new fuel-injected 150cc engine range makes it even simpler,” says Paolo Timoni, CEO of Piaggio USA, in a release about the new motor.
